DIM. Mental Health Club for Refugees

With the kind support of Bürgerstiftung Stuttgart and Ausbildungscampus, we have organised a safe space for refugees from Ukraine, where psychologists from Ukraine, Germany and Lithuania provide access to counselling in their native language.

Many of the refugees from Ukraine were exposed to stressful experiences. It is not only the acts of war that traumatise them, but also their experiences during their flight. Our aim is to create a safe space for refugees to exchange ideas, ask questions and transfer knowledge. Our aim is to advise refugees on current issues relating to their mental well-being and to support them in their personal situation. The activities offered focus on stabilisation, emotional relief and resource activation. By supporting and strengthening their own resources, we improve their ability to cope more actively with their burdens, take control of their lives again and take responsibility for shaping their own lives in a new country.
