Petrykiwka exhibition and workshop

With this exhibition we want to show that we, Ukrainians, have our own culture, which we want to cultivate and preserve. Painting reflects the soul of Ukraine. It is rich in symbolism and testifies to a careful observation of the local flora and fauna. Petrykivka is a tradition that survived the Soviet era unscathed and has been listed as an intangible UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013.
The exhibition tells about the traditions and techniques of petrykiwka, which have been used in Ukraine for centuries.
This will be followed by a workshop with the Ukrainian masters, who will teach the guests the basics of the petrykiwka technique.
