Since July 2024, we have been offering free maths tutoring for Ukrainian children every week (except during the holidays) - in cooperation with SGN Deutschland e.V.
Online and offline - flexible and accessible for everyone.
Approx. 10 hours per week - in small groups of up to 8 children.
Our aim is not only to teach children maths skills, but also to promote self-confidence and enjoyment of learning.
The project was made possible thanks to the willingness of many Ukrainian teachers from Stuttgart and the surrounding area to engage intensively with German maths. After all, it's not just about a different language, but also about a different approach.
The lessons initially took place at the Stuttgart training campus and later at the German Institute in Tübinger Straße and Sporerstraße.
The announcement and registration will take place via a dedicated Telegram channel. If you are interested, please write to us - we will then share further information with you.
We are the Porsche AG for the donation, which is used to finance the teachers' trainer allowances, and the Klett publishing house for the generous donation of maths books for the teachers. We are looking for further sources of funding so that our lessons can continue. If you have any ideas or would like to support us, please get in touch or donate directly using the #Mmath tutoring.
