The summer festival of cultures is one of the largest intercultural festivals in southern Germany and has been organised for over two decades by the Forum of Cultures Stuttgart e.V. is organised by the festival. Every year, the festival transforms Stuttgart's market square into a lively stage for international music, culinary delights and intercultural exchange. Visitors from all parts of the city and beyond come together to celebrate Stuttgart's cultural diversity. In addition to a first-class music programme with artists from all over the world, the festival offers a colourful mix of arts and crafts and culinary specialities presented by various migrant organisations.
UAKS e.V. has been taking part in this event with great pleasure since 2017. We spoilt the visitors with homemade Ukrainian delicacies.
Festival visitors can also discover authentic Ukrainian souvenirs, handmade jewellery and artistic accessories at our merchandise stand.
Our aim is not only to showcase the beauty and tradition of our homeland, but also to engage in dialogue with people, build bridges between cultures and set an example for open and diverse coexistence. The profit from sales goes directly into the production of our magazine Gel[:b]lukewarm, and the purchase of medicines for the needy in Ukraine.
