The film documents the entire history of the city since the beginning of Russia's large-scale invasion in 2022: the occupation, the resistance, the liberation, the flooding and the ongoing destruction caused by daily attacks.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"de\">The \u201ehuman safari\u201c - Russia's use of drones to hunt civilians - is part of this broader narrative of survival, resilience and defiance.<br \/>\n<\/span><em><span lang=\"de\">Badge of honour<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"de\">The Russian Foreign Ministry has placed Zarina Zabrisky on its official sanctions list because of her reporting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"de\">The film is part of a series of events organised by the Ukrainian Studio for Culture and Sport and the Heinrich B\u00f6ll Foundation Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg to commemorate the anniversary of the start of Russia's full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine four years ago.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kherson: Human Safari (72 min.) is a documentary film by US war correspondent Zarina Zabrisky, shot on the frontline in Kherson, Ukraine.
