On 26.02.2026 we cordially invite you to watch the film “Intercepted/Abgehört” with us at the Atelier am Bollwerk. The film is part of a series of events organised by the Ukrainian Studio for Culture and Sport and the Heinrich Böll Foundation Baden-Württemberg to commemorate the anniversary of the start of Russia's full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine four years ago. Dealing with war crimes is a key prerequisite for justice and lasting peace. Only when atrocities are documented,
investigated and prosecuted, victims can be recognised and future crimes prevented.

Russia currently occupies around 20 per cent of Ukraine. An estimated 5 to 6 million Ukrainians live in these areas and the pressure of occupation is enormous. People are disappearing in torture cells and prisons.
