Ми віримо, що слова краще звучать, коли поруч є вино. А вино смакує глибше, коли поряд - хороші тексти й уважні слухачі. Саме тому на початку року, в межах завершувальної фази нашого проєкту «Literature, War and Life», ми вирішили взяти приклад з наших друзів із Чернівців і створити власну - камернну, щиру й живу - дегустацію слова та вина.

Based on the study by the Ukrainian University of Nizhyn, the exhibition „Ecocide in Ukraine“ shows the most serious ecological consequences of the first two years of the war since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Stuttgart City Hall on the market square until 30.01.2026

The exhibition invites visitors to pause and realise what war means in everyday life. It makes visible what is often overlooked and reminds us that war is not just destruction, but a profound intervention in everyday life.

With her photographs, Tsaruk creates a quiet, nuanced visual story that places human relationships at the centre in a deeply empathetic way.
The exhibition can be viewed in Stuttgart City Hall on Marktplatz from 02/02/2026 to 26/02/2026. Free admission.

Kherson: Human Safari (72 min.) is a documentary film by US war correspondent Zarina Zabrisky, shot on the frontline in Kherson, Ukraine. The film documents the entire history of the city since the beginning of Russia's large-scale invasion in 2022: the occupation, the resistance, the liberation, the flooding and the ongoing destruction caused by daily attacks.

Russia currently occupies around 20 per cent of Ukraine. An estimated 5 to 6 million Ukrainians live in these areas and the pressure of occupation is enormous. People are disappearing in torture cells and prisons.

Dealing with war crimes is a key prerequisite for justice and lasting peace. Only when atrocities are documented,
investigated and prosecuted, victims can be recognised and future crimes prevented.
